Lena Gunn
Lena is Director of Technical Services at the EFF, overseeing the IT, systems administration, web development, and design teams that power the organization's digital infrastructure.
Her career bridges technology, human rights, and international development. She co-founded Sula Batsu, a worker's cooperative in Costa Rica, and served as Localization Manager at Twitter, bringing the platform to more than 35 languages worldwide. She has also conducted research on Open Source communities in Latin America and provided technology training to human rights organizations across the region. With experience in Product Management and Engineering Management consulting, plus academic background in Human Rights, Information Technology, and Journalism, Lena brings a unique perspective to building digital tools that advance autonomy, community and solidarity.
