EFF-Austin, a local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance, (not EFF) will host this event:
Join Henry Fisher as he explores the common pitfalls of fear-based privacy decisions, the importance of threat modeling over blanket solutions, and how to build sustainable privacy practices that actually work in the real world. Henry will discuss lessons learned from years of privacy education and working with people one-on-one, and how to help others develop a mature approach to digital privacy that balances safety with practicality. Whether you're just starting your privacy journey or looking to refine your approach, this talk offers insights on building effective, long-term privacy strategies.

Our speaker this month is Henry Fisher. Henry Fisher is the founder and CEO of Techlore, an educational platform dedicated to teaching digital rights, privacy, security, to millions of people on YouTube and other platforms. Henry's work focuses on making privacy education accessible to everyone, from beginners to experts, while advocating for digital sovereignty and open-source solutions.
